Granite Armor Penetrating Damage Effects Simulation

Dynamic software Autodyn for granite plates are penetrating simulated experiment. Damage constitutive model for Johnson-Homquist (JH-2 model) to simulate granite rock damage under impact loading and shear effects, and tensile softening model coupled with the JH-2 model, to simulate under radial tensile stress cracks in the main extension after damage when tensile principal stress and shear stress when the size is of the same order, behavior of brittle materials bearing capacity is becoming smaller. Compared with traditional delete crack in finite element calculation methods, computed using SPH method described by defining damage due to shear and tensile fracture the formation of cracks. Crater size and length of the simulation results agree well with the experimental, related methods and parameters can provide a reference for subsequent experiments and numerical simulations.
